Run Nintendo DS Games On Ubuntu 11.10/11.04 With DeSmuME

DeSmuME is a Nintendo DS emulator written in C++ that runs Nintendo DS games having the .nds format. The emulator is available in the Ubuntu official repository, you can install it by running this command via the terminal:


sudo apt-get install desmume

Once installed, you can start it via the Unity dash:

Click now the browse button and open any Nintendo DS game stored in your hard drive (.nds format):

The touchscreen of the Nintendo DS will be replaced by your mouse, for other keys:

Enter --> Start
Space --> Select
Z --> A
X --> B
S --> X
A --> Y
Q --> L
W --> R
